Cedar on Collins hosts a Retirement Living Seminar

Following the success of their first retirement living seminar in July, Cedar on Collins held a second session on Tuesday, September 15, at the Kiama Leagues Club.

Over 50 guests were given the opportunity to hear about the premium retirement community, located on Collins Street, where they gained insight into available apartments, were able to ask questions, book tours and enjoy a complementary lunch in a relaxed environment.

In a valuable addition, they were also able to hear from current residents about their experiences of living at Cedar on Collins, who gave insight into the activities and outings they enjoy together as a community and why they call Cedar home.

Sharn de Witt, Head of Retirement Operations at Fresh Hope Communities, the non-profit organisation which operates Cedar, was pleased with the turnout.

“We were delighted by the wonderful response to our second Cedar on Collins retirement living information session,” she said.

“It was fantastic to see such an engaged group, meet everyone, and it was particularly special to hear directly from some of our residents.”

“The strong interest is a really great reflection of the appeal of Cedar on Collins and the opportunity to be part of a connected community. We sincerely thank everyone who made the time to join us and be part of the day.”

She added, “We’d love to invite those thinking about a sea change or their next step in retirement to consider joining this vibrant community. It’s so uniquely positioned in Kiama and it’s a truly special place.”

You may have to pay a departure fee when you leave this village. You may have to share any capital gains received with the operator of this village.
